Hello, I'm
Ashley Ippolito
I am a first-year doctoral student affiliated with Florida State University School of Communication Science & Disorders. I graduated with a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Pacific School of Health Sciences. I graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a B.S. in Cognitive Science, a B.A. in Linguistics, and a minor in Education.
In the experimental field, specifically in the interface of psycholinguistics and speech-language pathology, I am particularly intrigued by literacy development in multilingual children through computational/corpus linguistics methodologies (e.g., textual analysis using LLMs and statistical software) of personal narratives to argue for interventions and implementation science practices.
